Well a long over due post> Well it's been quite a year since I last posted, many not so great things have happened. It is odd how you can be merrily going down lifes path and be hit by problems.It has been one year 2 moths roughly since I found out I had Cancer, make a long story short a great surgion and even greater prayer all is well. But wait there is more no just kidding. It sort of jolts you into reality in a hurry, and you realize to exp[ect the unexpected, even a bad reaction to the chemo , still all in all God Is AWSOME! At this point there is no Cancer in sight.The one thing I have decided through all this is that even when all is bad dont stray from your beliefs,but rememberr you are in his hands no matter what the outcome and be ready to accept what ever that may be. Hope all is well with everyone, will try to stay a little more active on the blog.

As I was sitting I started thinking what are our rights as Christians? To my very surprise a very simple answer came to mind, NONE! as Christians we only have our Father's blessing, promises and invitation to follow Him. there for nothing else matters; so goodbye all these preconceived rights, hello to relying on our Heavenly Father for all things .

I seem to be getting a little lax in my blogging. Over the last little while I have been learning more end more the importance of good christian fellowship is. There are the good old acquaintances, but that is not what I am referring to, not that there is anything wrong with this aspect of christian life. The ones that stand by us and don't believe stories about us,before they hear from you, then make there decision, in an honest and informative way. They don't turn their back on things and still remain friends even if you are wrong, they try to support and guide you through the hard times, You are always in their prayers and thoughts. If an en-pass is reached and all else fails, you both have lost, there is no winner. So if this occurs be enough of a christian brother to keep on praying for them no matter what, God knows and he is The Judge.

It's Christmas season once again and after a number of years of being the Christmas grinch I have finally figured out why about two weeks or more before Christmas I had a very bad attitude to the point of ridiculousness. It is quite simple I was always expecting things to be better at this time of year, and because I thought that the world was going to be a better place I was disappointed. So with out realizing over a period of time I developed this attitude at a very young age and tucked it away for this time of year, and yes there are all the old arguments, however there are somethings people like me have to sort out for themselves.The point of this hole thing is we should have a look at what we are teaching our kids in what Christmas is. What ever it is to you as an individual you must decide which way to or not to spend your time at Christmas and what your actions are saying to others around you.If you are a parent then you know what joy a new born in the family should bring, it's generally a time of rejoicing. We should get that same feeling toward Christmas, even if we celebrate it as a Christian or as a traditional Christmas. then again if it is just party time then why bother you can do that anytime anywhere, and if you don't believe in Christmas it really doesn't matter to you at all.

I was not going to post this but I just feel it has to be. Recently I read a young lady"s blog about the people being insensitive to others in distress. Well a couple of days after I received a letter from someone who is going through a very hard time financially and spiritually as well as health wise. Fortunately they are very strong in their walk with God. They received a word of wisdom from some person that they every one has troubles so get over it. Hmmm Unfortunately this may have come from a Christian.The word and thought behind this little ditty lack in both Christian and intellectual understanding.

Why can't we accept people for who they are and what they are, and let God work in their lives instead of trying to push them along? Try praying them into Christianity rather than forcing, coercing, or entertaining them in. Maybe standing with them when they ask.

It has been with great difficulty and lots of self soul searching that has gone on in this last 3 weeks. WE have finally realized that the gap between what we call denominational doctrines in the extreme are not acceptable to us as Christians. When it gets in the way of working together with other bible believers extending a olive branch it becomes non biblical in our way of thinking. In other words when we have to be so worried that it doesn’t glorify or only do our particular denominations work that we cannot accept it, but at the same time is glorifying to God and works for the good of His people, we take the stance that this is part of His message and is Biblical and the Bible is first and foremost and takes precedence over any man made denominational rules. It not to say that Biblical principals in a denomination are not important, but when used and applied improperly they are not of God but of man. We at this point refuse to go along any Church that in our opinion puts denomination first and Gods work second.

Dear Children,

It has come to my attention that many you are upset that folks are taking
My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually
born during this time of the year and that it was some of your
predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on what was actually a
time of pagan festival. The truth is I actually appreciate being
remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily
understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your
own.

I don't care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate My birth,
just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in
which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My birth, then just get
rid of a couple of Santa's and snowmen and put a small Nativity scene on
your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any
need for such a scene on the town square because there would be many of
them all around town.

Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday
tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made all trees. You can
remember Me anytime you see any tree. Decorate a grape vine if you wish:
I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am in
relation to you and what each of our tasks is. If you have forgotten that
one, look up John 15: 1 - 8.

If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my
wish list. Choose something from it:

A Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is
being celebrated, write letters of love and hope to soldiers away from
home.  They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year.  I know,
they tell Me all the time.

A Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them
personally.  They just need to know that someone cares about them.

A Instead of writing Jim complaining about the wording on the cards his
staff sent out this year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be
praying for him and his family this year.  Then follow up.  It will be
nice hearing from you again.

A Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and
they don't need, spend time with them.  Tell them the story of My birth,
and why I came to live with you down here.  Hold them in your arms and
remind them that I love them.

A Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her.

A Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own
life this season because they feel so alone and hopeless?  Since you
don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you meet a warm smile;
it could make the difference.

A Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the
holiday, be patient with the people who work there. Give them a warm
smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to wish you a "Merry
Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop
shopping there on Sunday. If the store didn't make so much money on that
day they'd close and let their employees spend the day at home with their
families.

A If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary -
especially one who takes My love and Good News to those who have never
heard My name.

A Here's a good one.  There are individuals and whole families in your
town who not only will have no "Christmas" tree, but neither will they
have any presents to give or receive.  If you don't know them, buy some
food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other
charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you.

A Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and
loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian.  Don't do things in secret
that you wouldn't do in My presence.  Let people know by your actions
that you are one of mine.

Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and do
what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest.

Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you,
but the ball is now in your court. And do have a most blessed Christmas
with all those whom you love and remember:

Christmas is Christmas and seeing that this is a free country people should not be stopped from using the Christmas Greeting, the same goes for those who wish not to use it, should be free to do so, so if people want to curtail freedom of speech under the guise of politically correct, maybe they should try moving to a country that doesn't have the right to free speech.
